Dave's home has been occupied by the gas industry known as "hydrofracking". Living in Wyalusing PA, in the heart of fracking in Bradford County, the water wells on his wife's 7th generation family farm were contaminated after the Slick Water Hydraulic Fracturing began.

Gas Rush stories is a series of short documentaries on gas drilling. Gas Rush Stories examines the effects of gas drilling on people's lives and environment from different perspectives. Only by putting ourselves in the other person's situation can we begin to see the bigger picture of this complex issue.
Gas Rush Stories, part 2: A Farmer is a story of Terry Greenwood, a small-scale cattle farmer from southwestern Pennsylvania. Based on his own experiences with gas drilling Greenwood is concerned about the food safety when agricultural lands are turned into drilling fields.

Part 3 of a talk by Carol French and Carolyn Knapp, both of Bradford County, PA, who have been severely impacted by the natural gas industry. They both leased their property. Rick Roles comes from Colorado to warn us in Vestal, NY,  about the effects of hydrofracking. It has poisoned his land and destroyed his livestock, including his beautiful Appaloosa stallions, all but one dead and buried. The rancher's health is ruined, too, and his story will bring you to tears.
