Social and Ethnographic Impact of Gas Drilling

Simona Perry, PhD, addresses the EPIC NO FRACK EVENT held at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY, on June 25, 2011. She worked with people in Bradford County, PA, collecting their stories in regard to natural gas drilling(Mellon Foundation Project). She covers social, psychological, and political effects of gas drilling in Bradford County. Twenty-five minutes well spent if you have the chance.

Thank you for your work. I live in eastern Susquehanna County and I find your blog professional, reliable, and well-written. I will be meeting Simona Perry this weekend!

I totally agree with what she's saying! It is true, it is easy for these extracting companies to do their job but it's not them who suffer most when problems occur.
