  1. Is anyone up there monitoring the fracking fluid and if it appears in the flood waters?

  2. Is anyone monitoring the flood waters for fracking fluid or other gas drilling related chemicals?

What about all the "fluids and chemicals" that spill from tractors and other types of farming equipment? Did all of you "anti gas drilling" folks think about that? And by the way.....tractors and farm equipment have been used all over the world for many decades. If you really have that much free time on your hands and want to fight for something you really don't know much about, then why don't you put all that effort into fighting "world hunger"??? Here's something to ponder....."frac a well......and bring a soldier home"! Oh, and one more thing........this winter, when its freezing cold outside, and you have heat to keep you warm, remember to thank a gas well driller!!! Proud wife and mother of "GASHOLES"!

  4. I think the issue of toxic chemicals in the floods is beginning to dawn on people, slowly but surely. I also wonder if there has been any testing or monitoring yet. There are reports that many gas well pads were flooded. That much is certain.

  5. To "YAY FOR GAS DRILLING IN PA"-
I don't blame you for being proud of your husband and son. You should be. They are working in a very dangerous industry where workers are not always adequately protected. Just a couple of things: 1) There is no connection at all between the gas industry and bringing soldiers home. Two separate issues there. 2) Much of the natural gas we are now drilling for will go to foreign countries where the selling price is higher. This gas will not help us out here in the USA as much as you think. 3) Why can't we spend our millions and billions on sustainable, less harmful forms of energy? Your husband and son could still have good jobs, we would be warm, and the Earth might stand a better chance of surviving.

  6. One more comment for "YAY": I am very sorry that anyone ever thought of the term "Gashole," because your loved ones and all who work hard at a job, no matter how harmful and unsafe it is, do not deserve to be called offensive names. The ones who are causing this harm are not the workers. We should go after the BIG GAS GUYS like McClendon. Wouldn't you agree?
